Our main concern should not be Nagin's remarks.
If this strategy does lead to him getting more votes, one should reconsider how far along we have come as a nation in terms of race relations.
The stratifying effects of racism and inequities of social classes needs to be addressed by our leaders.
If you've ever been to New Orleans, pre-Katrina you would have notices a very divided city, and prevalent racism. I think the strategy Mayoy Nagin has decided to use is a result of this pre-existing condition, further exacerbated by the disaster releif efforts.

I guess I do.You know, there's something wrong with a pro-life group honouring Britney's motherhood when you take into consideration the widespread picture of her driving with her baby on her lap.
I don't know- that's just me! And why only crowning? And why fully naked on all fours, and all the rest? If they wanted to honour her motherhood, (and her, of all people,) then why not a sculpture of her holding Preston for the first time, (fully clothed, with frazzled hair, and a tear on her cheek?) Or, how about including something of the father? For example, at least a hand, maybe with his finger being held by the baby. Why? Because it's porn, and the beginnings of what I wrote I feared.
