I have just been praying not only for you to get through your doubts, but also to have a personal encounter with the living God...I am confident it will happen based on my own experience, but I also know it is not as obvious I would often like it to be....
periods of open ended solitude away from electronics and noise and distractions
daily prolonged silent listening and wordless communion with our Parent
knowing that the Christ wants to teach us and knows how to reach us

Will do.
We are staying with family and they live on the beach. And they have a swimming pool. Can't wait.
I suppose living in GB, you must not see too many pools. Please post some Perth pictures. If I could visit any city in the world, it would be Perth.

A work colleague who is also a Christian said to me that He doesn't like it when there are limits set on God. And that is what I was doing. I was setting limits on God. I was happy keeping him in a Box the size of this universe and could not entertain the possibility of other universes. I am not going to lie to you - I went through a real rough patch with my faith when the possibility of a Multiverse became a more legitimized reality. But a few things set me back on the Narrow path:
1) Dr Jeff Zweerink from Reasons.org. I brought his book - "Who's afraid of the Multiverse" and it was a great short piece of work that explains all the different type of Multiverse models that there are out there and how God fits in it all. Also I watched him on the Leon Show and his journey was almost exactly the same as mine - He struggles with some new scientific discoveries and he was especially troubled with the Multiverse until he looked into it with more depth and then wrote his book.
2) Some of the explanations from Byblos
3) The conclusion that all physical reality has a beginning. This is a view shared by the majority of scientists regardless of what the model of the universe is - See BVG Theorem
4) An explanation is required for reality full stop.
5) Buying a new Bible and starting to read God's word again.
6) Actually watching BW's testimony again about his journey through hell helped as well - Don't ask me why or how.
7) Your prayers and various PMs that I have received.
So thank you all for your patience as I went through this crisis of faith. I know it might have seen silly to some, but it was a big deal to me and I think I have come out stronger.
Crisis of faith are anything but silly. Glad you got out of it bro.
It would be a blessing if they missed the cairns and got lost on the way back. Or if
the Thing on the ice got them tonight.
I could only turn and stare in horror at the chief surgeon.
Death by starvation is a terrible thing, Goodsir, continued Stanley.
And with that we went below to the flame-flickering Darkness of the lower deck
and to a cold almost the equal of the Dante-esque Ninth Circle Arctic Night
without.
First, I'm glad you've become more strengthenend and had the courage to test your fears rather than give into them and not give them due thought and exploration. This is something too vastly common among us. People will hold onto something, take it personal, and not even find out if they're wrong to feel and think that way, and instead adopt it into their world perspective..
I'm curious, you said

One thing I noticed from the video, is that B. W.'s wife must've dressed him. His suit, shirt, and tie really matched well.

Based on your experience?
Yes. Whenever I dress myself, I mix stripes and plaids.
I usually wear contrasting colors too.
When my wife dresses me, she usually gives me a matching skirt and blouse.
