Please pray if you see this post - just got word that it looks like the infection in my brother's foot may have spread (he's been being treated with massive IV antibiotic doses). In two hours, a surgeon is going to examine and make a recommendation of whether to take his toe or maybe some of his foot. I know Tim greatly appreciates your prayers, as do I.

Thanks for asking, K. His surgeon, the day before Thanksgiving, thought the toe/foot infection looked better - so he's given him about ten more days before deciding to remove anything. But it's very tough for him to walk (wears a protective boot) and work (he has a demanding tech job). And he has to take constant injections and his IV antibiotic drip during the day. He also oversees the care of a schizophrenic friend - so a ton on him. He greatly appreciates you guys' prayers, as do I!

Well, Bip, unfortunately, this past Monday his toe was removed. He's still on daily IV antibiotics and now heavy pain med. Prayers now needed are for his foot to fully recover and he'll be able to keep the rest of his body healthy. Thanks for asking. I hope you are doing well!Bippy: Aww Phil, just saw this thread , I’m

I'm afraid that he didn't have good insurance when he was long self-employed, and he may have not discovered and treated his condition properly. Who knows - it's all Monday morning QBing. But a pinky toe is the easiest to injure. I've mangled mine quite a few times!

I don't really know much since his removal. He's a really private person and often doesn't return messages, etc. My last knowledge is that he may still have some residual infection but they couldn't find it - so a week or so ago he was still on IV antibiotics. I know he went back to work, but he's exhausted dealing with this issue. Plus the IV antibiotics make him very tired. He lives alone, doesn't like visitors - yeah, strange, I know. All I can do is pray for him and I greatly appreciate your prayers.
So, what's been going on in Bippy land? Hopefully all is going better.
