Or, you and Mel can narrate it. We'll call it Divine Simplicity for and by blondes. But instead of Divine Simplicity being totally logical as Jac explained, it would be the blonde version. It would make absolutely no sense.

You know I had thought about recording an audio book, but to be honest, I didn't know if it would be worth the additional investment. So I have a proposal for you. I wrote the book and have been giving it away for free, but I would record it if I could put a low price on it and people still be interested in hearing it. Perhaps something in the three American dollar range or so.
The sound quality would be something like you are hearing now, as would the rate of speech. So what are your thoughts? I really appreciate all of the feedback and the positive reception I've been given for the work so far, and if there are ways to make it further accessible, I would love to do so.

I like your voice Jac and the quality (at least to me) is fine.
Personally, I do prefer feeling like the person is talking to me as if we were having a personal 'one on one' conversation. You sound professional, maybe a tad stiff and forced but it's appropriate for the matter at hand. It's just preference really of what makes me feel more engaged with the speaker and what they have to say.
If you can be in a crowded venue and the speaker can make you feel like they are just talking to you in a personal sense, then to me that is powerful.
I'd definitely pay a few bucks for an audio version. And your voice is fine Jac.
But I'd also pay a little extra if you could get James Earl Jones or Morgan Freeman to narrate too.
Count me in Jac.
