Your first point above is a non sequitur/misconception . A Universe made to come into being from nothing when it didnt have to and so we could have a place to enjoy our life in , displaces the notion of an 'uncaring' Creator. When One considers over 150 Life Enabling Constants to our Cosmos , all working flawlessly and in unison with one another for our existence and survival...it requires a very dedicated caring awesome personal Creator who thinks quite lovingly toward us. Would there be some reason why you would not find this personally appealing ? What would be a reasonable response to a Creator who has demonstrated his care toward us ?

Secondly, for a finite event (creation of the Cosmos) that comes into being from nothing with many awesome scientifically-confirmed displays of intelligence within it when these displays didnt have to exist , rules out there was 'no good reason' for it . Whereever you find intelligence , it is exists to partially or fully complete a process or entity ; thus that gives the process/entity a reasonable purpose . In fact, it is the atheistic worldview which must borrow from the theistic worldview in order to help justify it because things like reason, logic, intellect, etc... cant exist in a material only Universe , yet these are all things Atheists use to champion their worldview .
