Re: Predestination and prayer
There is NO Scripture that tells us God goes back into time and changes what has already transpired. I agree with that statement completely. However he does know everything that will happen in the future, including what people will ask for in prayer, and if he decides to answer a prayer his origina...

Predestination and prayer
Those of us who are saved were chosen for salvation before the world was even created. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we sho...

Re: Support Gay Marriage Cakes
It is both legally and ethically wrong to refuse to sell a cake to someone because he is gay. We do have a right to refuse to make a cake that promotes something we believe is morally wrong. There is difference between what a baker sells and who he sells it to.

Re: Caught In Hail Storm
Perhaps God sent the hail to remind you to think about Jesus and what he has done for you. This is always a good thing to do even if that wasn't the purpose of the hail.

The Israelites spent 400 years in Egypt. They were invited to settle in Egypt to escape the famine in their own land. At first they were honored guests but that status changed. Now there arose a new king over Egypt, who did not know Joseph. And he said to his people, “Behold, the people of Israel ar...

This is your last warning. Stop misrepresenting other believers who disagree with your YEC interpretation.
You've been warned in the past, and continue to bear false witness against your brothers in Christ.

MAECs
Among those who believe that God created the earth there is disagreement as to how and when he did so. Some believe he created it in six literal days, just as the Bible says. They are known as young earth creationists or YECs. Others believe he created the earth gradually over millions of years and ...

1 Kings 22:1-40 describes the battle in which King Ahab of Israel lost his life. He asked Jehoshaphat, the king of Judah, to join him in taking Ramoth-gilead back from the Syrians. Jehoshaphat agreed to help but insisted that they ask God’s guidance first. Ahab called 400 prophets and asked whether ...

If you have a problem and need a professional counselor you probably won’t have much trouble finding one unless you want a counselor who believes the Bible and uses that as the basis for his work. Most counselors base their work on secular beliefs. One organization that does offer Biblical counselin...

Re: Local flood and local fire?
In theophilus' defense, he doesn't take Genesis quite as literally and concretely when he believes the sun only became visible, but was already created. Why he feels the need to be inconsistent, and take yom literally and concretely, is puzzling. There is nothing inconsistent in my beliefs. The Bib...
